The Classical Quartet
About the Performers The Classical Quartet, founded in 1979, was the first string quartet in America to perform the masterpieces of the Classical era on period instruments. The Quartet has appeared at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Smithsonian Institution, and the Boston Museum of Fine Arts.
