About the Performers The American VocalArts Quintet is:
Dedicated to the fine art of ensemble singing, the American VocalArts Quintet has performed in professional theaters, colleges, and concert series throughout the Northeast, and presents an annual concert series in Boston under the auspices of the Boston Univeristy School of Music. Prize winners in the 1987 Concert Artist Guild Competition, ensemble members have also been the recipients of many individual awards including Tanglewood Music Center and National Endowment for the Arts Fellowships. They have been soloists with such prestigious organizations as the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Handel and Haydn Society, the New Japan Philharmonic, the Opera Company of Boston, and the Boston Camerata, and currently serve on the faculties of Boston University and the University of Michigan. |
